WHAT EXACTLY IS THE APPROACH WITH A HOTEL RELAUNCH ?
1. Appointment arranged for an on-site visit including an inspection of the hotel or hotel complex
2. Subsequent analysis and initial discussion of the areas and topics that can be improved
3. Continued joint consulting discussions at the client‘s site to specify and finalise the work to be carried out
4. Obtaining quotes for the requested areas and practical implementation of the RELAUNCH steps
HOW DOES RECONS CONSULTING WORK ?
An appointment can be made with the client on site with initial contact by phone or email.

We arrive and following a face-to-face meeting with the decision-makers (normally the director, managing director, owner, marketing department), we get a first impression of the hotel. Depending on the size of the hotel or complex, this takes between 1-2 hours and sometimes even a whole day. In consultation with and with the permission of the client, we inspect and visit all the requested areas and draw up a list of all points that can be improved from our point of view (and therefore from the point of view of the guests). These inspections are usually carried out together with the clients but sometimes quite deliberately on our own, just as the guests would move around the hotel on their first visit.

The improvement points for the RELAUNCH are already discussed together immediately after the inspection, the first ideas are introduced and prioritisation is discussed with the client or if there is any interest in improving the respective areas. At the same time a complete check of the internet presence takes place in virtual reality, including an analysis of social media activities and the like.

Having agreed on the most important RELAUNCH points together, all the possible INTERIOR DESIGN, RENOVATION CONSULTING and MARKETING implementations will be discussed in more detail at another meeting on site.

Once the budget has been set, quotes are obtained and the first RELAUNCH steps are started.

In the Interior Design department we offer you our knowledge of the leading wholesalers and producers in the international furniture industry, which we have built up over many years. We have specialised in Italian manufacturers as well as companies from the German-speaking area.

The focus here is also on artwork furnishings and art consulting, in addition to vintage leather furniture (Chesterfield etc.). Our managing director Christoph Wilburg worked in the gallery sector for many years and has successfully completed numerous projects for renowned hotels in terms of art and pictures. The range extends from inexpensive classically framed black and white photos to unique pieces created personally for your hotel.

The goal is to create a unique visual USP for you. We would be happy to tell you more about what we mean by this.
WHAT DO YOU OFFER UNDER CONSTRUCTION CONSULTING?
By construction consulting we mean monitoring and supervising the renovation work, which only involves structural changes in rare cases. We have specialised in soft renovations, which can be implemented more economically in terms of budget and relatively quickly and simply, even when it‘s business as usual. It is therefore important to us not to send our clients away to practically implement the RELAUNCH on their own after the theoretical planning.

We accompany our clients from the first ideas to the completion of the successful renovation taking a high level of responsibility for completion on schedule, within the agreed budget, with the necessary overview and essential attention to detail. Of course, this also applies to the area of marketing.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS?
Our managing director Christoph Wilburg has been working independently in interior design, construction consulting and marketing for 20 years now, mainly for and with people from the hotel industry. All the freelancers, partner companies and industry professionals have at least 5 years‘ experience in the hotel industry.
IN WHICH REGIONS CAN YOU ACCEPT CONTRACTS?
We have specialised in the alpine region (city and country) i.e. mainly the German-speaking part of Switzerland and the bordering foreign countries. Our team also has the necessary flexibility and mobility to carry out contracts throughout Europe. We have already advised hotel clients and implemented concepts from Forte dei Marmi in Tuscany (contract for interior design and construction consulting) to Saint Tropez on the Côte d‘Azur (marketing consulting). However, the focus is undoubtedly on German-speaking Switzerland, where we have the ideal contacts to partner companies and the best knowledge of the industry to be able to carry out contracts to our clients‘ full satisfaction.
